Hurray For Me (and F#%k You)

Today's topic is corporate greed. There has always been a war of sorts going on between the "have" and the "have not" factions of the human race. Here in the USA, the gap between the two is wider than it has been since the great depression. The reason for this, is the climate brought about by the front men for the "haves", George W. Bush, and Barrack Obama.

In the past twelve years, Bush, and Obama have championed the elitists, while totally ignoring the working men and women of America. Under Bush's / Obama's watch, millions of decent paying jobs have been exported overseas, health benefits have been eroded, and workers pay slashed. All the while, prices for consumer goods, gasoline, and food, have risen steadily.

The "haves", in their smugness, are delirious with their gains, while the "have-nots" are struggling everyday just to keep a roof over their heads, and food on their table.

Reagan, was an elitist, but with his trickle down economy, he saw to it that at least something got to the American workers. Not so under Presidents Bush and Obama. No profit is too great for corporate America as far as they are concerned. The fact that this profit is coming at the expense of the American people, is of no concern to them or their cronies.

They of course feel that they are entitled to these huge profits. In their short shortsightedness, they do not realize that they are sewing the seeds for their own destruction.

 Since so many manufacturing jobs are now done overseas, the cost to make something is much less than it used to be. But the lower manufacturing costs have never been reflected in the cost to the consumer. The prices have never come down, thereby increasing profit margins of management. However, since there are so many unemployed people, and the ones who do have a job are making substantially less than they used to, no one can afford to buy anything unless they put themselves in huge debt. Then they end up defaulting on these loans, and everybody loses. Companies are going bankrupt at an alarming rate!

These assholes have out smarted themselves! When will they learn that a well paid work force is their best customer? We really need someone running this country that understands that there has to be a balance between profit margins, and worker pay. Otherwise we are in for one long hard depression.

Thinking Deep Thoughts With a Shallow Mind

Things seem to be out of whack. There are a lot of crazy things going on, and I am trying to ponder them out. Being an introspective kind of a guy, I am wondering if all of these things are really crazy, or just too complicated for my feeble mind to grasp. Ponder with me on some of these thoughts.


What is so special about the new health care bill? All of the democrats know that the vast majority of Americans are against this bill as it is currently written; why would so many of them commit political suicide to ram-rod it through? The American people are angry; there will be a democratic blood bath coming at the polls this November. Are the words of President Obama so pursuasive that the democrats would willing act like lemmings and dive off of the political landscape? Is the will of the Overlord (who ever that may be) more important than their political careers?


Why are we fighting a war in Afghanistan? The government loves to tell us that we are really fighting the Taliban, and trying to eliminate Osama Bin Laden. If this is true, why so many thousands of American troops (with more to come) to hunt down a bunch of rag tag turban wearing misfits? This sounds more like a job for a C.I.A. hit squad, or a platoon of Navy Seals. If they couldn't get the job done I bet we could hire the Mafia to put a hit on old Bin Laden's ass.


Why does the government need to know so much about us? The government has paid nearly $700 million to promote the 2010 census, and to tell us why it is so important for us to fill it out, and send it back to them. Why? They already know everything they could possibly know about us. They have all of our homes on GPS coordinates, they have all of our cars chipped, all of our cell phones chipped, our pets chipped, our TV systems chipped, our credit cards are chipped, our new guns are chipped, and some (not as many as they want) people chipped. If you have been in the military in the last 10-15 years, odds are you are one of them. Who's that knocking on my door? Oh, its only Big Brother.


There are many more deep thoughts I could ponder, but my mind is far too shallow to handle them all.

A Peek Inside

I am Caucasian; a white man. I can't help it, I was born that way. That's the way the European DNA runs. I have learned a long time ago to be color-blind in matters of race. The only black-and-white I see is the color of a person's heart.

That being said, I am extremely distressed with all the comments I've heard from many smart-alec white people since the election of Barrack Obama. You know which ones I am talking about: the don't-worry-he-won't-be-President-for-long-he-will-get-shot ones. I guess because I'm white, these Einsteins think they can blather this racial shit to me, and think it's OK. They couldn't be more wrong.

One of these Einsteins was an offensive lineman at the University of Texas. Now he is just offensive. This dope thought he could go on his Facebook page and say "all you hunters out there gather up, 'cause we have a n!#*er in the White House!" Makes me wonder how he really felt about 3/4 of his teammates. I wonder, when he blocked somebody, if everyone on the field could hear the rocks rattle around inside his head.

My biggest fear is that one or a group of these simpletons will actually try to carry out their hate-and-bile-filled threats. If successful, the race war and destruction that will follow will make the Bush years seem like a dance around the maypole (not to mention America losing perhaps the brightest and most articulate President in our lifetime).

The Secret Service needs to put their full resources into checking out and arresting any and all people making these threats. They are not joking around as much as they are giving us a peek inside their real selves.
