...And Good Will To All

I have talked about the need to love more than we ever have before. Its true, we do, but, how do we accomplish this? After all its difficult enough to love those close to us at times, let alone total strangers, and our enemies.
We need to realize that it is impossible for anyone to love everyone with deep affection. Deep love, should be given only to those closest to us. God, your immediate family, and closest friends. The rest of the world we should love through good will.

What is good will, and how do we give it to others? There are many ways to do this, the first way, is to allow everyone to be themselves. In other words, try not to judge others. This is not as easy as it sounds.
We all have been raised with certain prejudices, and opinions. It is very easy to slot people by their appearance. Long hair on a guy, means he’s a hippie, lots of tattoos, and he’s a punker. Then there are a whole slew of racial slants that we are all familiar with. When you see someone different from you, and you automatically slot him or her, as this or that, catch yourself, realize that you are judging that person, and decide not to. Send some silent love to that person instead. That is good will.

Another way to practice good will, is through acts of kindness. God said, “whatever you should do for someone else, even the most wretched, you also do for me”. In my post “The Awakening” I talked about how each and everyone of us is a manifestation of The Holy Spirit, in a different state of consciousness. Each and everyone of us, including our enemies, are divine, and should be treated with respect; no matter how ignorant they are of their divinity. When we are disrespected, or hurt, be like Jesus and bless them “for they know not what they do”.

There are other ways to show good will. Be creative, and see how many other ways you can think to give love. Soon it will become second nature, and you will do them without even thinking about it.
Every time you demonstrate love, you are making a contribution to our collective unconscious, like putting money in a bank. When we have enough people contributing, we will push our collective consciousness into the next level taking everyone else with us.
How about that for a gift of love?

Chipping Away

After posting one of my spiritual essays last week, I received a very lengthy and thought filled comment from one of my readers. The comment basically stated that my ideals are fine, but with the world in such a mess, that they were not feasible on a world wide basis. His premise was what good would good will, optimistic attitude, and good deeds have to do with the suffering in various parts of the world.
In truth, there is very little I or any other individual can do to alleviate the suffering in the world. What I do is try to teach spiritual lessons to those readers that are ready to learn them.
I am not trying to convert anyone from their religion, or coerce their way of thinking to meet my way. The lessons I teach are the lessons that soul has to master in order to graduate from this world.
By graduating I mean they no longer will have to reincarnate back after this lifetime unless they choose to do so, as a teacher, or way shower. Graduating also means they are no longer under the bend and sway of karma, for they are now true co-workers for God, and beyond karma.
There is another reason I write spiritual posts; I am hoping to help raise the consciousness level of all of humanity.
Bit by bit, I hope to chip away at the spiritual ignorance of mankind. I am not alone, there are many of us out there right now working to uplift mankind.
I have talked before about the collective conscious. This is something that each and everyone one of us is connected to, and that each and every one of us contributes to.
If you have ever heard of the 100th monkey syndrome it talks about how a whole population of monkeys learned a new behavior instantly, after the 100th monkey had learned it. It seems that 100 was the critical number to uplift the whole population through their collective conscious.
There are now about 6 billion people living on this planet; I don't know what the critical number of people would be to uplift the whole population, but I and others like me are chipping away at that number by teaching those that are ready. Then hopefully they will teach others about the power of love, and the freedom of soul.
Chip, chip, we are working to teach, and up lift all. Want to help?

Blue Skies

Yesterday 8/4 was the 9th birthday of Mike's Common Sense. "Everything I write is designed to make you think; what you think is up to you."

To celebrate I want to re-publish one of my favorite articles. I hope it becomes one of your favorites also. Mike.

“Blue skies, smiling at me, nothing but blue skies do I see.” That is the opening line of the old song “Blue Skies”. I used to listen to it every weekend when I was a kid. My dad played a lot of Jim Reeves when I was a lad, and this song was one of my favorites. Not only for Jim’s smooth as velvet baritone voice, but also because it had a cheerful, happy, spirit to it. It is a song that is rosy and optimistic, and I am an optimist
Now a days, it is tough to be an optimist. To be an optimist you either have to be high, or soft in the head, according to most people. They think optimists are not realists. If, you get too realistic maybe that’s true, but most optimists don’t watch the nightly news, or get too caught up in what the mass media is busy spewing. Optimists are on guard to what they will open their state of consciousness to take in.
I am an optimist, because I know not to be one is to be a defeatist. I simply will not accept that attitude. I know that the only way to bring about change for the good of all, is to be positive about what I think could be, and will be.
Dr. Karl Jung back in the 1920’s postulated about mankind possessing a “collective consciousness”, in to which every man and woman contributes to. To contribute positive vibes to that collective consciousness only helps to raise the vibes of all mankind. Keeping a positive outlook contributes to up lifting your neighbor, and your world wide brothers and sisters.
Are you with me?
Blue skies, smiling at me; Nothing but blue skies do I see…

The Coming Of A New Age

After posting "Fear Mongers" I received a couple of comments stating that they believed what I was saying to be true; however, they didn't know what they could do to change things.

First of all, let me state that helplessness is an effect of fear, and exactly what the global elite wants to propagate among the masses. In "The Awakening", I talked about how each of us is in control of their own state of consciousness. It is very important not to let fear and helplessness rule your state because you are then tacitly allowing someone else to rule your domain. That is the first, and most important step each of us as individuals has to take.

The second step is to help other people become aware of what is happening. Talk to your family and friends, make copies of "Fear Mongers", and tack them up at work or email them to people.

The third step (and I know this may sound ludicrous to some people) is to love the George W. Bushes, Barrack Obama's, and other power elite of this world. I firmly believe that mankind is on the verge of taking the next big step in our spiritual evolution, where our collective consciousness jumps from an us-and-them mentality to realizing our oneness. This will happen after we feed our collective unconsciousness enough love and goodwill to propel our collective consciousness to the next level.

This is very similar to the Age of Aquarius that everyone talked about back in the 1960's. I do not, nor will I ever, advocate violence, for this will only propagate the circle of bad karma we have been going through the last few millennia.

The power elite, may control the banking systems, and the ruling structures, of the world; however, they are very few in number. Once the blinders have been removed from the people, they will be forced to scurry away like cockroaches when a light has been turned on. They will do anything to keep mankind from taking this big step. I anticipate some drastic measures by them in the near future, possibly including Barrack Obama declaring Marshall law soon after the next inauguration.

Please do not be swayed, or cower to them. It is time to love like we have never loved before. A new age is upon us!
May the blessings be.

And Good Will to All

I have talked about the need to love more than we ever have before. It's true, we do, but how do we accomplish this? After all, it's difficult enough to love those close to us at times, let alone total strangers and our enemies. We need to realize that it is impossible for anyone to love everyone with deep affection. Deep love should be given only to those closest to us: God, your immediate family, and closest friends. The rest of the world we should love through good will.

What is good will, and how do we give it to others?

There are many ways to do this. The first way is to allow everyone to be themselves. In other words, try not to judge others. This is not as easy as it sounds. We all have been raised with certain prejudices and opinions. It is very easy to slot people by their appearance. Long hair on a guy means he's a hippie; lots of tattoos and he's a punker. Then there are a whole slew of racial slants that we are all familiar with. When you see someone different from you, and you automatically slot him or her as this or that, catch yourself, realize that you are judging that person, then decide not to. Send some silent love to that person instead. That is good will.

Another way to practice good will is through acts of kindness. God said, "Whatever you should do for someone else, even the most wretched, you also do for me." In the past I talked about how each and everyone of us is a manifestation of The Holy Spirit in a different state of consciousness. Each and everyone of us, including our enemies, are divine, and should be treated with respect, no matter how ignorant they are of their divinity. When we are disrespected or hurt, be like Jesus and bless them, "for they know not what they do."

There are other ways to show good will; be creative and see how many other ways you can think to give love. Soon it will become second nature, and you will do them without even thinking about it. Every time you demonstrate love you are making a contribution to our collective unconscious, like putting money in a bank. When we have enough people contributing, we will push our collective consciousness into the next level, taking everyone else with us.

How about that for a gift of love?

There is another reason I write spiritual posts; I am hoping to help raise the consciousness level of all of humanity. Bit by bit I hope to chip away at the spiritual ignorance of mankind. I am not alone, there are many of us out there right now working to up lift mankind.

>

I have talked before about the collective conscious. This is something that each and everyone one of us is connected to, and that each and every one of us contributes to. If you have ever heard of the 100th monkey syndrome it talks about how a whole population of monkeys learned a new behavior instantly after the 100th monkey had learned it. It seems that 100 was the critical number to uplift the whole population through their collective conscious.

>

There are now about 6 billion people living on this planet; I don’t know what the critical number of people would be to up lift the whole population, but I and others like me are chipping away at that number by teaching those that are ready. Then hopefully they will teach others about the power of love, and the freedom of soul.

>

Chip, chip, we are working to teach, and up lift all. Want to help?

Blue Skies

Dr. Jung back in the 1920’s postulated about mankind possessing a “collective consciousness”, in which every man and woman contributes to.
