Total Abundance and Opportunities For All

So many young folks seem to be enamored with Socialism. Yeah the precepts sound good, but how does it really work out? History has shown that not one Socialist country has lasted more than 50-60 years, most well short of that. Why? Let's take a look.

The government takes from those who have earned their money, and gives some of it to those who haven't earned it. In the meantime most of what they take goes to the government. Do some research on Socialist countries. Those in power live an opulent lifestyle, while everyone else barely survives.

What is the answer? How about total abundance, and opportunities for everyone?

If you take government out of the picture with it's crony capitalism, regulations, taxation, and legislation, money will flow freely among all who put in some effort. Those who are incapable of working will be supported by charities, and common good.

There is NO free lunch in a truly free society, if you don't work, you don't eat. In a truly free society everyone is a producer, and a consumer. In a totally free society everyone can attain the level they choose on their effort. Total freedom, and abundance for everyone.

Ain't That Peculiar

Its kind of funny how life is now a days. One day you are told one thing, then the next day, they tell you something different. Who they are I'm not quite sure, but whoever they are, they can't seem to be able to make up their minds.

I remember when I was young, growing up a Catholic, the nuns told us that it was a mortal sin to eat meat on Friday. This meant that if you deliberately ate meat on a Friday, and knew that it was a mortal sin, and did not confess that sin to the nice priest, (who then had you say fifty "Hail Marys", twenty "Our Fathers", and fifteen "Act of Contritions",) and died; you would spend all of eternity being one of Satan's minions.

Then around 1971, the Church did an about face on the eating meat on Friday thing; now it was no longer a sin to eat meat on a Friday. I always wondered about the poor souls burning in hell for eating a lousy baloney sandwich on a Friday. Did St. Peter take the elevator down to hell, and proclaim, "Hey, all you guys down here on the eating meat on Friday rap, come on up!" The nuns I questioned about this denied that they ever said it was a mortal sin to eat meat on a Friday. Hmmmmmm.

Last Fall, gasoline was averaging $4.00/gal. We were being told that oil, being a fossil fuel, was limited in supply; and that the cost to explore, drill, import, etc. etc. was the reason for the ever increasing prices. Then the shit hit the fan with the economy; people couldn't afford to pay exorbitant prices for gas. The oil companies weren't selling enough gas to keep their profit margins up. Now gasoline is averaging $1.70/gal! Maybe oil wasn't so scarce after all. Hmmmmmm.

Maybe I am too skeptical, but it seems to me that we are being told whatever lie is convenient, to persuade us to do what they want. Want to talk about the bailout for the banks? Hmmmmm. How about the erosion of personal freedoms to keep America safe? Hmmmmm. It seems to me, that the next time they tell us the truth about anything, it will be the first time.

Fear Is Spiritual Poison

Many people today are living in a constant state of fear.

They are afraid of going to hell, they are afraid of terrorist attacks, they are afraid of governmental control, they are afraid of the economy, they are afraid of the price of oil, etc. Very few people realize that we are, and always have been conditioned to be fearful. The major news networks are nothing more than government run fear mongers, and it is impossible to watch them without becoming fearful, or depressed. Your major religions are always telling you that you will burn in hell for all eternity if you don't follow their dictates. The average person's anxiety level is maxed to the limit.

There is a reason for this. Governments, and religions have always acted hand in hand to keep the population under control. There is no easier way to control people than to keep them living in fear.

Fear is spiritual poison. Fear closes down the natural pathways between man and the divine within. With these pathways closed down man is nothing more than an animal, instead of the spiritual being he truly is. There is a reason religions liken their followers to sheep; they want you to merely follow along and contribute to them, not to grow spiritually, or to be different.

If you truly want to grow spiritually, and if you truly want to be free, you need to escape the bonds of fear. Life is to be lived, and experienced; this cannot not be done while living in fear.

As long as you feel you have something to lose; your life, your house, your soul, etc. you will be subject to fear. Realize you have nothing to lose, and fear loses it's grasp.

Then you can reconnect with the divine and realize you have everything.

Fear Mongers

It has long been known that the simplest and most effective way to control a population of people is through fear.

The reason Vlad the Impaler did the gruesome acts he did was to strike fear in the local population, thereby making them easier to control. The reason most religions put the fear of eternal damnation and fire and brimstone on their parishioners is to keep them in line.

Throughout history, one will find that people in power have used fear to maintain the status quo. The times have changed, the tactics have changed, but fear is still the primary tool used to control people.

In the past, priests wore strange costumes, muttered strange words, and staged elaborate ceremonies to evoke fear, and awe, in the people. The priests were the tools of those in power.

Today we have CNN, FOX News, and other media outlets acting as the stooges for the power elite. Their primary purpose is not to inform as much as it is to occupy your attention with reasons to be afraid.

If you are aware, you will notice that the things to be fearful of are constantly changing...sort of a fear du jour, if you will. Twenty-five years ago it was the Russians, Libya, the ozone layer, AIDS, the possibility we are heading for a new Ice Age, and the Ayatollah, to name a few. Today they are occupying us with the threat of terrorism, global warming, Korea, Iran, the sinking economy, and many others. When one thing gets so worn out that it no longer elicits the proper amount of fear, the power elite will find, or create a new one to replace it.

Many people believe that 9/11, and the subsequent war on terror, was allowed to happen, if not totally orchestrated, by high-level members of our government under the control of (or in cahoots with) the global power elite! The evidence is very strong to back these claims up.

The reasons behind keeping us fearful is an old magician's trick. While we are watching or preoccupied with what one hand is doing, we fail to see what the other hand is doing. While we were so worried about terrorism and personal safety, we allowed many personal freedoms to be eradicated by the government. The government, through the NSA, can and does eavesdrop on our personal emails and phone calls. Big Brother is no longer a possibility, but a reality.

We need to wise up to this shell game they have been playing on us, before "America, land of the free, and home of the brave", becomes neither one.
