It's Hog Slopping Time!

Blood is in the water. Sharks from miles around are coming to join in on the feeding frenzy.

Corporate America has noticed how the American people spinelessly gave in to the bankers and sent them a 750 billion dollar bailout. I am, of course, talking about "The Big Three" auto makers: General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. They used to be called "the Big Three American" auto makers, but they use less American workers, by percentage, than the "Japanese" auto makers. Now these fat hogs are bellying up to the trough with stories of woe and how they are facing sure bankruptcy if they are not given a bailout of their own.

The truth is, they caused their own problems with their greed and mismanagement. Now they want us, the American workers, to reward them for killing the goose that laid the golden eggs. In Hooray For Me (And F#&k You), I talked about how corporate greed would be responsible for the downfall of these pigs. Now that they are about to get their just dues, they come crying to us to save them.

Funny, but I don't see Honda, Nissan, or Mitsubishi, crying out for public assistance. What does that tell you? It tells me that Corporate America is fat, rich, greedy, and stupid. It tells me the products that they make with foreign workers is inferior to the Japanese products made by American workers. It tells me that there are not enough Americans working to be able to afford their over-priced garbage (Americans that used to work for them, until they got too greedy).

What great irony it would be if these hogs ended up in the same unemployment lines as the workers they laid off!

It will never happen. As we learned with the bankers, the rich will always protect the rich, lest it happens to them next. The free market system has always been survival-of-the-fittest, and it has flourished. Now the fat and weak are being propped up by tax dollars, and the system is wallowing.

Do not give these hogs free slop! Perhaps they will be bought out by someone that knows how to run a business, and they will hire American workers to buy their products.
